Three years after the last Blight and Ferelden has finally begun to make some visible improvements among the larger cities. Burnt trails and many grave-markers litter the countryside, a constant reminder of the war and chaos that nearly destroyed them all. The Grey Warden, who made his final stand against the Archdemon, will forever be remembered.
There are very few Grey Wardens in the world, and only one in Ferelden; King Alistair Theirin. With Ferelden's reconstruction smoothly, Alistair has taken the time to go out and recruit new Grey Wardens into the ranks, picking up where his mentor left off before his death.
As always, humand and elven relations have once again become strained, and it only seems to be getting worse. After the death of the dwarven king, Harrowmont, below-ground tensions have increased at a staggering rate, and Orzammar is once again landlocked.
Anora Mac-Tir, following the execution of her father at the hands of Alistair, was imprisoned by the King in an undisclosed location. He only did as to avoid an all out civil war, but he did not count on the possibility of her being broken out.
The lands of Ferelden have survived and won another Blight, but is it possible that the lands and it's people are going to be torn apart? The Kingdom needs new heros and champions to step up and become the new Grey Wardens.
